Wayne & Suzanne - Owners
Wayne has lived and breathed Stoneridge since childhood, when his mother Da'Vella first had the idea for the Blessed House; over thirty years later, he has poured his heart and soul into making Stoneridge what it is today. Still overseeing operations as our General Manager, his incredible vision has to be seen to be believed.
Suzanne is the heart of Stoneridge's events team, and has assisted countless guests with planning their perfect occasion over the past fifteen years. With an incredible eye for detail and commitment to delivering perfection, there is no safer pair of hands for your dream event.
Warwick - Executive Chef
Warwick is the most recent addition to the Stoneridge team, joining us from his previous position as Head Chef at Botswana Butchery Queenstown.
Originally from South Africa, he has worked in five-star hotels and luxury resorts across Europe and South Africa, including owning and operating two of his own restaurants in Hermanus.
Warwick holds a simple philosophy to his cooking - that fantastic produce should be left alone enough to reflect its quality on the plate. His passion for celebrating small suppliers and unique purveyors has been fuelled by the quality produce that is available to him here in New Zealand.
Emily - Events & Marketing Manager
Usually to be found behind a computer screen, Emily splits her time between wedding & event planning, marketing and whatever else happens to land on her desk!
Originally from the UK, she worked in events and front-of-house in Europe before joining us here at Stoneridge, so she has intimate knowledge of what makes your special occasion memorable and how everything ticks behind the scenes.
Passionate about making sure your event is exactly what you're looking for, she prides herself on looking after all aspects of the day so that you can focus on the most important thing of all - having a fabulous time!
Lucas - Lodge Host & Chef
Lucas can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen most morning for our Lodge guests, and with his legendary omelettes and second-to-none barista skills, he's sure to provide the perfect start to your day.
Originally from China, Lucas came to New Zealand to work on his culinary skills and trained at cooking college in Auckland before moving down to Queenstown and joining the Stoneridge team.
When he's not perfecting his latte art, find him assisting our Executive Chef in the kitchen plating up delectable feasts for weddings and events.
Shruti - Lodge Host
Shruti is our superstar host who is never to be seen without a smile on her face! Whether she's serving canapes at weddings or welcoming guests to check in, Shruti's positivity and can-do attitude is sure to brighten your day.
Originally from India, Shruti studied hospitality at Queenstown Resort College before joining us as a host/housekeeper in 2019 and loves living here in Queenstown.
